Arranhe knows. The Charr as a whole distrust magic, and she does too, but the Ash Legion is not going to have any mesmers if the entire legion balks at being one. Someone has to be the illusions guy, so she found her calling. At least she gets to wear a smile on her face all day. Either that, or she's lazy enough to put up an illusion of a smile. No one will ever know.

Guess what I've been playing? It's something of a legacy: I played a mesmer in the first game too. Old habits die hard.
