It's incredibly fun ^^ Great choice in music (I <3 DKC) I love how challenging it is, as well as the dash mechanic :p
Would it be possible to change the moving buttons from the arrow keys to WASD? That'd be a lot easier to control (at least for me. Maybe make it an option?) Also on level 2, when shot fire at the wooden logs, it crashed the game ^^'

This game is pretty good. But the knock back is quite a bit too much. (due to the fact you can touch spikes when you get knocked back and instant die which can be very ^@%$#ing frustrating!!) ragequit at the stage where there was loads of spikes and the bombs really made that stage TOO HARD. Because when you get hit, you get sent right into the spikes, killing you in a flash. (older games allowed you to not instant die from spikes when you got hit by something else. Giving a second or two invulnerability. Giving enough time to get out of the spikes before you die.)
Most of the stage is well done and give the right challenge. But that total spike area with the falling bombs made it a bit unforgiving in my opinion.
I do like a challenge but that one part in the near the last stages really wrecked it.
The knock back should be variable depending on how the enemy hit you with. Melee or ranged. And there should be difficulty settings.
Say on EASY: The spikes just hurt you a little. on NORMAL: The spikes would do a lot of damage. and on HARD: The spike would just instant kill you.
Plus an option to where you can change the controls to how the player wants it would be nice.
Other than those bad moments. This game so far gets a solid 7.5 out of 10. A solid game worth playing. Just be prepared to rage-quit at the late stages.

I agree with what Boomheadshot said. Should be given a second or two of invulnerability to avoid knock back into spike instant death, ESPECIALLY on the falling bomb spike area.
