There's a lot to love about this simple drawing, MJ. Primarily, the simplicity of it all kind of gives it, to me anyways, a very vintage look. Kind of like one of those classic doodles you might see on the cover of a Christmas Card.

BTW: I appreciate the shading job in that, unlike most pencil works, I can actually see this one. It's nice to be able to appreciate a non-colored work. Haven't been able to do that for a quite awhile now.

Glad you like the simplicity of the drawing and also that you could actually see the pencil work enough to appreciate it as well. Might help that I upload in such a large format too. Seems like many pics on FA or DA are only so big when you go to look at them.

Thanks zee zee, I was really just messing around doing this but this is how I used to shade pics longer ago. And glad to know that looks stylish. Would never have thought to use that term for this pic myself.
