Yep, I know that situation just too well. ^_~
I've been playing UT2004 for years now and have my own server (but it's unreachable atm due to a problem with our firewall), and I don't know how many times I got killed the second I delivered the final blow to someone and won the match.

I hope that they'll fix the problem with the firewall soon at my place, there are LOTS fo people waiting to play again since my server has some unique experimental game modes and weapons you won't find anywhere on the web. If it gets back online it'll have a new version of the portal gun, probably enhanced by the features from the grav gun from HL2. ^_^
