La storia è ambientata 2 anni dopo gli eventi del gioco originale e narra le disavventure di Milo, uno spirito della luce con la capacità innata di apparire buffo e divertente a tutti i suoi fratelli spiriti. Proprio a causa della sua natura comica, non venne più preso sul serio e quando un gigantesco albero morto era sul punto di schiantarsi in una zona pubblica, nessuno gli credette quando diede l'allarme. Di conseguenza, la catastrofe fu inevitabile e da quel momento Milo odiò la sua buffa natura e volette rinunciarla a qualsiasi costo, pur di essere nuovamente preso in considerazione. Ma a seguito di una serie di sfortunati eventi, il suo desiderio divenne ben presto la sua maledizione.

The story is set two years after the original game's events and tells the misadventures of Milo, a Light Spirit with the natural ability to make fun at his brothers spirits. Because of his nature, Milo was no longer taken seriously and when a giant old tree was going to crash on a pubblic area, Nobody belives him when he gave the alarm. Consequently, the catastrophe was inevitable and from that moment Milo hated his funny nature and desire to refuse it at any cost, in order to be re-considered again. But following a series of unfortunate events, his desire soon became his curse.
