Well, I figured I should go ahead and upload a few pieces of my work to this site, since I've been sucked back in to using it to watch other artists.
This was a commission I uploaded awhile back. Two characters belonging to Kcomplex, decked out Matrix style.
Personally, I'm not that big a fan of the matrix. The kung fu was weak, and the last movie in the series bit -hard-, IMPO, but black trenchcoats -are- cool. (nods)(nods)
PAY NO ATTENTION TO MY CRAPPY HANDGUNS.

Kung fu will never be portrayed well in any movie; they always try to make it flashy, which is completely not the point. =/
Nevertheless! You've got a cool grip on leathershine. Trenchcoats are indeed cool, and that's some pretty interesting makeshift code; reminds me a lot of just about every Japanese artist's page I visit. The colors really pop, though!

You can make it flashy and have it be cool if the people doing it are well trained. Watch something like Ong Bak, or most Jackie Chan movies. Sure, they're not realistic, but they're not really meant to be, they're meant to be fun.
When I say the Kung Fu in the matrix was weak, I mean Keanu was slow and sloppy, and given he's supposed to be "the one" and such...
But it was still better than the "Kung Fu" in Tomb Raider. Seriously, I wish some of these action movies would realize that if your actors don't actually know martial arts, you're better off not trying to force it. Indiana Jones had people punching each other in the face decades ago and it was plenty exciting without people trying to spin around and do flips.
