I made it in photoshop because essentially, Iron Maiden kicks the shit out of everything.
The quote "Let me tell you a story" comes from their song Dance of Death, off the album of the same name. i chose this quote because each of their songs, sometimes even whole albums, tells a very unique story.

Fur Affinity really SHOULD have a slew of "Undead" species tags (but would Eddie be classified as a zombie or a ghoul? [I'm guessing ghoul because he appears to be too quick-moving and clever to really be a zombie.])
....Also where the fuck is the cover for Piece Of Mind?! (But then again, I don't blame you; it IS particularly difficult to listen to most of the things on that album.)

Yes, kinda, but Flight Of Icarus is quite possibly the band's most Wagnerian piece (of mind? I think that the most Wagnerian piece of the brain is located on the right side of the front [which, coincidentally, is the part that creates the desire to shoot laser beams out of your eyes]); Flight Of Icarus and The Trooper are what initially attracted me to Iron Maiden, but my ears couldn't handle the noise of most of their earlier stuff before I built up an immunity to the horrid sound of Invaders not too long ago actually. Until I built up that necessary immunity to high-pitched screeching combined with distortion (or whatever the hell it's called), thus making me a "true" Iron Maiden fan ("true" as in liking ALL of the band's things, not just one particular era and/or vocalist), I listened to Iron Maiden's more recent things (The X Factor, Virtual XI, Brave New World, Dance Of Death, and my personal favourite, A Matter Of Life And Death to be precise.)
I've always been a fan of 'Where Eagles Dare' from piece of mind. though i would have to agree that i was never really fond of their old old stuff that featured Paul Di'anno until much later on. I was the same way about Blaze Bayley with X Factor and Virtual XI, but it grew on me too, it was a nice change of pace for a while, and Blaze seemed to form a cocoon that would metamorpho the band once Bruce came back with brave new world, which has my favorite song, The Wicker Man!
but i won't lie, i cannot carry on like you, so props!

I know exactly what you mean by forming a cocoon when Blaze Bayley was the vocalist; The X Factor was the band's first album that was entirely composed of serious songs, and all the albums that came after it had that same trend toward albums that are filled with serious, deep, moving songs; the band "grew up" so to speak (which is a repeating pattern that can be found in many musicians; Mozart, Elvis Presley, The Beatles, and various others all have had this shift from light-hearted and casual to serious and somber). But I think that the shift in attitude was brought on by Steve Harris going through various troubles that occurred at around the time that Bruce Dickinson left the band, and Blaze Bayley joined.
But I know what you mean by these things growing on you; after hearing Hallowed Be Thy Name (one of my absolute favourites) so many times, I started to crave Wrathchild (which I anticipate every time after hearing Hallowed Be Thy Name, which I had originally heard on Best Of The Beast [Wrathchild comes immediately after Hallowed Be Thy Name on that album.])
