To start, Valkyries were Norse warrior goddesses, who were guardians of Valhallah, the hall of heroes in Norse myth. They were the dealers of death, the deciders of victory, and the choosers of heroes. Contrary to what we've been fed on tv shows and movies, valkyries did not have wings (Max Paine) and did not ride on horses/pegasi. The rode on wolves capable of flight (no wings necesary).

Here we have Twilight as a male valkyrie mounted on Kyuubi, about to descend into battle ^_^ Enjoy!
