:Adoptables: Halloween 2015 Trisagion (OPEN - 8 LEFT)
This batch includes four revamps from last year! And four very special Trisagion up top!
SPECIES INFORMATION
*When happy, these angelic beings make a bird-like call that sounds like "holy, holy, holy".
*Trisagion have elongated torsos to hold their Burning Coals.
*Burning Coals are similar to a life essence or a soul,
but they can give them to someone they like or can have them stolen.
*These creatures are always born at an altar or shrine of some kind,
where the prayers of the people form a small Coal that brings life to the Trisagion itself.
*The Trisagion's Coals are extremely sought after and can be used to bless or heal other creatures by bestowing a bit of their semi-immortal life upon them.
*These angels will die if their Coals stop burning.
*The happiness of the Trisagion is easily told by the glow of their halos,
the bigger and brighter, the happier, the smaller and duller, the sadder.
*Pure Trisagion are rare, having white halos that symbolize the wishes and prayers that created them.
*Royal Trisagion have obtained the closest thing to immortality,
and often govern what the others of their kind are allowed to do, much like in human societies.
*Royal Trisagion have two halos and larger wings, symbolizing their strength and freedom compared to the others.
*Trisagion with colored or grey halos are considered common and easier to summon/create.
*Black halos are a symbol of servitude and ill wishes, making them both common and looked down upon.
*Most Trisagion do not wear clothing, as their fur and feathers typically keep them warm.
Clothing is mostly just a sign of status to them.
*Insanity Trisagion have rainbow halos and shredded wings.
*The Insanity were created on altars and at shrines where human sacrifices made wish upon dying wish.
*The Insanity represent every color, every type of wish that could be made. From vengeance to peace, from joy to sorrow.
*Insanity Trisagion are rare nowadays because these practices have died out, but they are not at all extinct.
*Traitorous Trisagion have sided with Stingy Jack, being given a seed from his lantern for their own.
*Ingesting the seed changes them from the inside out... causing a period of unbearable pain.
*Once the seed settles and cooks amongst their coals, this period ends and the emerge different in every way.
*Typically, this calls for personality changes and physical changes with wide ranges.
*Unable to form lanterns of their own, the required rebirth process of a Nethertern cannot be fulfilled by the Trisagion.
*When All Hallow's Eve arrives, the Traitorous Trisagion go through the pain and changes all over again, but earn another face on their tail.
*The faces on their tail act like their own personal Jack-O-Lanterns, marking their own age and abilities amongst Jack's kin.
*Some of the tail puffs develop their own personalities or encompass pieces of their Trisagion's past personality.
*Trisagion who become part Nethertern are typically taller through forced growth spurts, and their ability to take in food is limited.
*Often times, during their changes, the Traitorous Trisagion become extremely vulnerable... usually hiding and sometimes harming themselves.
*Though Traitorous Trisagion retain their Halos, the Halos become tainted and cracked.
*Traitorous Trisagion become allergic to Silver, though it won't kill them, it will cause them to emit a foul, sulphurous odor from the silver touched area.
*They have no aversion to the number ten, and their alcohol tolerance varies from person to person.
*The thorns on their tails are representatives of the spikes on the Nethertern's body.
*Though it has not been confirmed, many suspect that Stingy Jack may use their tainted coals to control the Trisagion.
*It should be noted that, while these Trisagion are traitors to their own race, they thought that their choices were right and just at the time.
*Unlike the rest of their species, Traitorous Trisagion's chant of "holy, holy, holy" is less of a chorus and more of a haunting whisper.
