So I literally spent hours practicing 21 pilot's "Car Radio" song to memorize the lyrics and nail the vocals. Unfortunately, the Karaoke machine didnt have it listed. Bummer. So in a pinch I sang Match Box 20's "Lets See How Far We've Come". I thought I knew it well enough to sing it but I stumbled badly when I got on stage. I missed a whole verse. 1/2 the problem was the tel-prompter didnt preview the lyrics coming up. They just flashed on screen and you had to catch up with them. The other 1/2 of the problem was because I didnt rehearse the song. Oh well, I also sang Mighty Mighty Bosstone's "The impression that I get" and did marginally better.
