Well, now we know what it takes to get Aunt Kate off of the phone.
And no, she doesn't have the same voice as a lopunny. But Jackson is a teenager and teenage boys' voices break sometimes; especially when they're emotional. So no, aunt Kate didn't have much reason to think it wasn't Jackson until she got up there.

Here's the big reveal of Jillian's face (well, in-comic, that is). And on the subject of faces, this page ought to be a treat for those of you who enjoy Aunt Kate's facial expressions. I know I do. XD

I feel a bit silly for picking at this since I'm really liking this so far, but Jillian's ears in panel 3 just keep distracting me... they're like, in front of her "eyebrows" but somehow behind her tail and the sink faucet? The spacial positioning doesn't really work right, unless she's like, leaning forward significantly... but she doesn't look it.
well, she does have someone yelling in her ear
and if you want to take a bit of an empowering parental figure into the mix, there is a very well developed lopunny in her nephew's bedroom crying.
Although logic quickly shows the difference when she is called out to, typically visual cues are processed first
