Honestly, I've debated posting this every other day, I've wanted to post something about our situation but honestly I'm at a loss for words, there's no way I could describe to you the way that we're currently living, so I'll cut it short.
Our rent was recently subject to a huge raise, and now? It's not profitable to live here anymore, hell it's a complete money drain. I'm not even sure that it's SAFE to live here. We are unable to cook, the kitchen sink has been broken for months, and I can't keep washing dishes in the bathroom, it's disgusting. We have no shower head, and the tap water while burning your eyes in shower has recently become entirely undrinkable. We are unable to leave our bedroom, to sit in the living room, or to watch tv. We cannot cook because it's an inconvenience to those around us, not mentioning having to clean up the massive messy wake before you can even think about cooking. We're just tired of being used, and having to clean up after everybody.
We both spend countless hours, days, weeks, even months inside of our bedroom, with no way to leave. Honestly, we've got no choice left. We've found a place, and we are looking to get out by October, honestly... That's sort've how bad our situation is. Getting our own place, the rent will only be $60 more, and we will be able to make use of an entire house instead of just our bedroom. On top being able to live in a cleaner and much more stress free environment.
Moving out enables us to work faster and with less stress, our currently slow turn around time is a direct correlation with our stressful living situation. Getting our own place will make working so much easier, and we won't have any issues with not being able to work because you've been screamed at all day and you're starving.
