Well, it's finally here guys! Chapter 3 is conclusion!
It's been more than a month since I uploaded part 3, sorry about that. x.x
I am very happy about this piece. It seems like I only got better the more I write, really hope you guys like it! :3

“I am Different” pt. 4
It was a very bright and sunny day. The kids were on the open grass field playing together. Everybody was enjoying themselves, everybody was having fun… Everybody but a shy wolf whose fur resembled the graceful snow flakes that always greets this Earth during winter. The little arctic wolf had a saddened expression on his face as he sat down underneath a tree, embracing his own legs and watching as the other kids played and had fun. He knew he couldn't join them, after all, he was too weird and unwanted among them.
A gentle breeze caressed his fur as he found himself lost on his thoughts. He missed his cousin so much… He used to be the only friend he's ever had… One that understood and cared for him… Or so he thought. The memories of that last beating on school were still aching inside his heart. After that day, he was now called “pawslut” by the kids. Why was it so hard for people to understand him? Why must everyone always judge him for being different? Why wasn't he loved?
Full of those unwelcomed thoughts, it wasn't long until his face became wet from the tears that fell from those eyes, tears that nobody would ever notice… And as those tiny bits of a lost soul greeted the ground, there was only thing that he could think of…
- I want a friend…

Snowy slowly opened his eyes. It was around 5 p.m. The arctic wolf was used to waking up at such a late hour, he always overslept. It wasn't his fault though. One of the major symptoms of depression is the issue that depressed people face with sleeping. They either sleep too much or too less and sometimes have a very fierce insomnia that will prevent them from falling asleep.
As he got out of his bed, he could notice that Ethan wasn't on the room anymore. He probably got tired of waiting for the arctic wolf to wake up and went away. This thought, of course, made Snowy sigh deeply. Just when he thought that he would not need to be alone anymore, there he was, all on his own facing an empty room.
He was very hungry… The restaurant had probably closed by now, so it would be wise just to order a pizza. As he went to the kitchen to get the telephone, he could see that there was a plate filled up with food from the dormitory's restaurant. Beans, rice, chicken and even lasagna. What a dish that was! Snowy didn't even think twice before eating it.
As he finished eating, he could hear a knock on the door that leads to his room, followed by the sound of the door being opened. He went to see who had just arrived and for his surprise it was Ethan!
- Ethan?! You're still here? I thought you had already gone back to your mother's place…
- And leave without talking to you? I'd never do such a thing. - He smiled. - I hope you liked the meal I brought to you. I thought it would be a good idea to bring you food since you overslept and the restaurant in here doesn't stay open during the night.
- T-that was really nice of you… Thanks for caring about me. - He blushed a bit as he walked up to his new friend and hugged him tightly, something that was rather impulsive, but truthful.
Ethan also blushed a bit with the sudden hug, but did not hesitate to hug him back. They both stayed there, hugging each other for a couple of seconds as none of them could think of something to say.
- Thank you… - Finally, one of them decided to break the silence, it was Snowy.
- You don't need to thank me for that silly, I could not just leave you after yesterday… And besides… There's something I need to ask you…
- What is it?
Ethan grabbed Snowy's arm and pulled him gently with him to sit on the couch.
- You know Davis, right? - The gray wolf said, this time with a rather serious expression on his face.
- I-I used to… We used to be roomates… - He said as he started to get nervous, noticing Ethan's serious expression.
- Why aren't you friends anymore? What happened between the two of you?
- It's nothing… We argued about something one day… He thinks I'm weird, but I didn't do anything wrong…
- Is that all? Isn't there something you're not telling me? - Ethan said, this time with sad expression.
- I… I… Didn't do anything…
In that moment, Ethan sighed deeply and grabbed his cellphone, showing what was on the screen to Snowy. It was a video. It was very clear that the person being recorded was the arctic wolf, as he pulled the sleeping wolf's feet from out of the blankets and started caressing them. Not only that, but the video also showed Snowy kissing and licking those paws as Davis woke up and, as a madman, started to shout and curse like crazy at the arctic wolf.
“- YOU WEIRDO! WHAT ARE YOU DOING WITH MY FEET?! YOU FUC*ING SON OF A B*TCH! SO THIS IS WHY I WAKE UP WITH MY PAWS WET EVERY NIGHT! YOU KNOW WHAT? I'LL ASK TO GET ANOTHER ROOMATE! I DON'T WANT TO SEE YOU IN FRONT OF ME EVER AGAIN!.” - And with that, the recording ended.
- He was recording you, Snowy…
Snowy was too nervous to even speak, as those videos brought him bad memories, some very bad ones. He could see people kicking him and cursing at him in the middle of school, calling him a “pawslut”. He could see his cousin abandoning him once again… He could see his parents telling him mean things and calling him broken.
Everything came back to his mind as he started to cry. Ethan also got very nervous when he saw his friend crying desperately like that. He didn't know what to do, he didn't know what to say. Maybe he shouldn't have put him up against the wall like that, maybe he should have been a little more gentle with the arctic wolf.
- Everybody… Hates… Me… - Snowy said as he embraced himself, the tears falling harder and harder from his eyes.
- I'm sorry… I Shouldn't hav-
- I AM NOT WEIRD! - The arctic wolf shouted before Ethan could finish his speech. - WHY MUST IT ALWAYS BE LIKE THIS? ALL I WANTED WAS TO HAVE A FRIEND!
- I just wanted to understand… I'm sorry… I thought you could have done the same thing to my paws when I was sleeping… But I honestly don't care about that… I just...
- I didn't touch your feet! I didn't want to screw everything up, but it's too late, I am a failure and I'm not supposed to have anyone! - Snowy got up and ran to the bedroom, shutting the door and locking it from the inside.
- H-hey wait! - Said the gray wolf as he went after him. - C'mon… Open the door, let's talk please! I am not mad at you or anything, I just want to understand you…
- GO AWAY! - He shouted from inside the room.
- But… I…
- JUST LEAVE ME ALONE!
Ethan stayed there for a couple more seconds, as he finally settled down and turned his back to the door.
- Fine… I'm sorry if I hurt you… - He said, as he started to walk away, getting out of Snowy's room and closing the door.
Surprisingly, Roger was standing on the outside of the room with a big smile on his face. He had been listening to all that yelling from behind the door.
- Dude! I am so, so, so proud of you! You showed that weirdo who's boss!
- Shut up! - Said Ethan with an angry expression, as he walked away from his cousin.
- What the hell has gotten into him?
Ethan left the building as he got inside his car, taking a last look at the dormitory thinking about his friend.
- I hope he's going to be okay…
Meanwhile, Snowy was still crying desperately on top of his bed, repeating the same thing over and over again:
- Please don't leave me… Please don't leave me… I beg…
