One of those "I got bored" projects. I decided since I carry my serrated knife around in my lunch bag, to deal with whatever lunch ingredients I pick up at the grocery store, I needed to make it a sheath. So I made this. It is two layers of leather, to allow the blade to slide smoothly in and out. I added an end cap to add another layer of leather to keep the point from working its way through the sheath. I added a small amount of design on the back piece in wire because it seemed like a good idea. I stitched the sheath together with a mix of thread and a slightly heavier string. I also added the red ribbon just to make sure the knife stays in the sheath. As to why it is red...that was what was available at the time.
