Here are my feet paw bases... the toes are DVC regular canine toes (they take some cutting and shaping to fit them properly to the shoes.) They are built on a pair of extra comfy and broke in nurse's shoes (I used to work in a nursing home, they held up and kept my feet comfy walking on hard concrete all day... perfect for this application) DVC Large Canine Claws (Kindly supplied as a sample with my DVC order, painted black, and sealed under four layers of sealant to keep the color from chipping. I used foamies sheets and foam, and A ton of my favorite Fabritac glue (Like hot glue in a bottle, only it holds stronger) to smooth out the sides, and provide a nice smooth surface to glue fur down to. I used a sharpie and wrote the words "Left" and "Right" inside the shoes before adding foam, to make it easier to put the correct one on the correct foot. :) Now it's time for furring!
