Meet Marik, the Helkatze! Inspired by a couple of my favorite kitties- a king cheetah and a long-haired Scottish Fold! His horns are modeled after a fallow deer's antlers.
Is he slender like a cheetah under all that fluff? or is he a chub? the world may never know (jk he's just really fluffy).
Because of his short tail, a part of being a male Helkatze, he is not as efficient at hunting as females. He can sprint just as quickly as other cheetah-based Helkatze, but the missing length in his tail renders him incapable of maintaining balance when sprinting at high speeds. He relies on either other Helkatze for food, or his ability to hunt at night, luring his prey in with the glowing tip of his forked tongue, and at the last possible moment he swipes a paw under the prey to sweep them off their feet.
