One of the few regular comic strips - which can be found in the GoComics site, as well as its own Internet website - is "Bob the Squirrel" by Frank Page. It's the misadventures of a wise-crackin' rodent who has sought refuge in the home of a misfit human cartoonist... However, unlike a certain comic strip cat who also shares his digs with a human cartoonist, 'Bob' enjoys drinking diet cola more than eating lasagna (but that doesn't mean that he WON'T eat it)!
In 2005 - when I was still working as a 'toll collector' - I'd learned that Frank Page was accepting 'fan art' of his character in his "BTS" website. So, I'd decided to draw a Sunday-styled comic gag (where 'Bob' consumes a carbonated concoction familiar with "FA" visitors to my site), which I would later scan and post to Mr. Page - who loved it and included it in said 'fan art' gallery. This presentation of my gag is a little bit larger than the one he'd posted in his site. If you'd like to see his presentation of my art, go to his "BTS" site and click on 'Fan Art'...

FOOTNOTE: On May 11, 2005, I'd penciled and inked this entire comic strip 'fan art' piece IN ONE DAY... while working in my toll booth!! (Yeah, traffic that day was THAT light!) Very few cars went down my lane, so I had more than enough time to render all ten panels in under eight hours. With the exception of editing the last line of dialogue in the tenth panel (after work hours), this was one of the few times in my life I was truly able to mix business with pleasure!
