Playing around with Winsor Newton Pigment Markers and my Caran D'Ache Luminance pencils. Gotta get my paws on some more colors to actually blend and experiment with before I know how I feel about em but I am highly intrigued to have found an archival marker solution :o Most markers are extremely apt to fading and bleeding/yellowing over time and are usually unsuitable for display even under UV resistant glass. SO... I could charge more for this type of colorwork as a commission option :3

Ooooooo! I like these markers! Never heard of them or seen them before I don't think, but I am intrigued as well. So they are different than prismas or copics right? But they still look like they blend well. Are the expensive? I know what you mean about stuff turning yellow and I really hate that.
AND HUSKIE LOOKS BOSS lookat her strutting her stuff like the sassy little thang she knows she is
And I'll never get over your coloring - you did a fab job shading that fluff as per always!

There is actually no marker shading here whatsoever, these are pencils over markers. And yes they are expensive which is why I only have 6 rn and can't really do much til they become more available and I can snag a good coupon to buy more.
I'm not sure what the solvent is in them but I suspect it is water?? Idk I guess I'd have to email Winsor and Newton.

i normally don't see markers and pencil as superior mediums, but these lines are some of the finest i've seen.
it's almost like Sumi painting. I think most of the good ones use Ethanol a their solvent i know it's a great brand. But since it's not a good product, they really don't need to tell anyone what's in it. does it smell like a Martini? or a Catbox?
