Seeing this reminded me how confused I was as a kid as how to get a Ampharos in my Gold version. For whatever reason, I refused to believe that the adorable Flaffy turned into an Amphy lol. It actually wasn't until Pokemon Coliseum that I got my first one, by accident after the part with the mountain take over by the evil group of that game...
