The original intent behind the creation of SEE-064, now collectively known as 'Zha', was to ascertain the exact nature of the Shift and communicate with the spirits; possibly even capture them if the option was viable. However, he has done more than seek out spirits and has uncovered several species we were not aware existed on various planets. These creatures, if raised properly by our subsidiaries, will prove to be vital to our operations and may even give us further insight into how the Shift works.

Now, while those he has found insofar have been incapable of intelligible speech, we are working on accelerating their evolution while maintaining the defining characteristics that allows them to see into the Shift. While having a synthetic is certainly useful for this work, we feel that the nature of an organic and naturally born creature will allow us greater insight and understanding. After all, the limitations we had when building him to view it in the first place will impact his capability of interacting with it, while with these creatures, it is an ability they were naturally born with.

With this information in mind, it is my recommendation that we scrap the synthetics that have been built for this purpose by the SEE Foundation. Although they have been incredibly useful, the resources put into their creation will be put to better use in building more up-to-date automatons for further exploration of the Shift.

This is a piece I drew of Zha a while back, uploaded to my other account around the original time of creation. I am still incredibly proud of this piece and I greatly enjoyed working on giving him more readable expressions.

To note, the second pair of arms can either replace the top pair (metal feathered) or be set on the second pair of biceps so that two different pairs of wings can be inserted into the back. One pair is your fairly normal and standard wing set, while the second are specifically for speed and maneuverability. Regardless of which ones are used, there are internal jets set below them to further impact speed as purely mechanical flight would be somewhat slow. However, most people do not know of the existence of these jets as they run completely silent, giving the illusion unless the second pair is worn.
