Commentary:
Tried yet another new thing. I decided that speech bubbles don't
necessarily have to stay in their panels as long as it's not too confusing.
To be honest, I'm not sure if this worked out.
There are some empty spaces left in some panels.
Panel 6 was going to just have Lubo facing the left.
But the speech bubble was becoming too big, even with my having bubbles be outside of panels.
So I decided to draw a view of the village instead. Since that's what Auda's talking about.
Animating was a lot different for me this time due to using different tools.
Spriter to be exact. www.brashmonkey.com/spriter.ht…
But they were very handy. I had only layer for the text and characters,
had the tail move underneath. And underneath that was the background layers.

I don't think the speech bubbles get too confusing outside their panels. They can actually be used pretty well as a transition between panels ^^
I kinda like some of the empty negative space, like in panel 5. Gives it a more serious feel to it and some "air" to breathe (figuratively speaking).
I still struggle with laying out my comic, and some of my experiments go terribly awry O_o
Also the animated version was a cute addition XD

Yeah as I'm starting to make more and more pages, I'm really digging these "free bubbles"
And yeah I'm gonna try to have occasional animated panels
Also if you'd like you can take a look at my script for the first 6 pages
I find making scripts are extremely helpful

Normally I would draw eyelashes on gals, like Lubo's sister. But I decided not to draw them for this character in particular. Also women keep their chests covered usually in this world also. Other than that, the other way to tell is simply the pronouns used to address them.
