Commission for silverdragon4198 of her Istaria character, Silverth.
First time really pushing myself to draw anthro and I am rather satisfied with the outcome. I referenced a lot more things and had a few pointers from friends though. ^^ Silvy herself linked me some awesome stuff to reference off of <3
NOTE: The iridescence I speak of on her scales when happy looks like this: s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/2… Unfortunately I couldn't emulate it well on such large scales and in such a small quantity, so reference off of that. Shown here is just the base color.

Usually it's one or the other isn't it? I was going to say there's a lot of people with both but now that I'm thinking I can only really remember one or two
With Istarian dragons though, the game gives you the khutit ability so you can be the size of a biped. You literally cannot fit into buildings otherwise. xD

Ista isn't free, it's P2P - it's free for the first ~15 levels for dragons and ~10 for bipeds though. Either way, I was just saying because that's the game where these guys come from, so I was explaining the reason for their form :P
Sounds interesting though, I imagine he'd use his tail to balance out on his hinds?
