Yea it's not the best balanced, believe me I know. It's live from the mixer board copied onto CD. No programs used/software involved

Yea I really hate this sound guy he always fucks it up like this even after telling him before hand. I know the EQ I want but... lol bastard. It was better sounding on the floor/mosh/circle pits but that should not have to be the case.. ffFUcking good night either way

It's so hard to record live, just before my friend gave me a way to digitally produce and record I was going out of my head trying to get it just right.. everything from hanging the mic from the basement rafters with a styrofoam cup to try to get it sounding great. But your recording is pretty solid. Yea the bass is up to loud but when is bass not up to loud and I'm surprised the drums aren't over powering everything kudos on that heh.

Thanks man. I knowww I've actually done that styrofoam cup thing xP But this should be better the sound guy at this venue kind of sucks. The fucking Toms weren't mic'd!!!! Well they were there but not turned on! I wanna sock this dude out for that haha. This is the usual which is retarded because the acoustics and equipment at the show are top notch sounds much better on the floor but for whatever reason doesn't translate to the cd, though people say I (guitar) need to be up'ed.

As for just jamming/rehearsing I did just get the program reason and my buddy has been fooling around with garage band but ehhhh I wanna hit up a studio. We honestly use an old desk tape recorder for all of our basement stuff. It's more of tool to go over things within the band. I just get overzealous and throw it out there to people cuzzzz even though low quality I like it. Well most of it, some parts shine more due to the quality but music I can't help but throw it out there haha

I never trust sound guys Usually the lead guitarist in my band did sound for the other bands and took on of there guys and showed him what to do during our set. Cause a bands care about bands.. most of the time and B we know were not doing it to get a month to month paycheck.

My stuff is getting shaky now that I'm recording and producing everything but that's cause Brian wants me to learn the ins and out's of how it all works that way. SO through trial and error I am slowly getting better.

Yeah I'm trying to get on that too. I got some people that want to record us at there home studio. Which means free! So I'm hoping that pans out. Plus they would work in our direction.
