He does have a point there....
I decided to look more closely at this image, and it really does play with your head.
You're wearing a red shirt, but in the screens it looks white. Also what I'm assuming is your camera bag, is only visible on your physical self and not the image on the screens.
Just a really nice shot overall! If I had the money and you were able to, I'd buy a print of it. :P
And this was a 30 second exposure? Damn....I can hardly stand still for that long!

If it was truely infrared Tiberious' shirt here would probably have come out more greyish and his arms would be white. It was probably some program that would automatically adjust the color balance extremely quickly to get that type of effect.
And as for the women, it must have been something strange with the lens... o.O;

Actually, on second thought...this might be an IR image, but the reason the typical IR occurrances (skin being white, etc.) didn't happen is because of that light shining into the area. I think that helped to change the way the IR camera read the image, so it may infact have been IR, just doesn't appear to be because the light messed with the normal instances of IR behavior....
If that makes any sense. *Smirks*

Well, I really love the fact that it was not taken square in the photo. The beams at the cieling help to create a surreal feeling since they are on a diagnol. Diagnol lines are a great way to help emphasize distress and occasionally movement.
The reflection of the screens on the ground also helps it make you look more 'alone' and in the middle of nowhere.
The left screen being brighter than the other two helps create a feeling of distance or separation, whichever way you want to go with it.
Annnnd I'm sure I'll have more to add when I look again tonight. *Grins*

*Takes a deep breath*
To continue with the lines, the curved folds/wrinkles in your shirt also add to the feeling of movement while the diagnol created by your bag again helps to create the feeling of unrest.
The way that not features of your face and very little of your arms are in sharp detail also adds to the mysterious feeling, while the shadows of your image on the screens helps to mimic this as well as add a very surreal effect.
I don't think that the same feeling would have been attained if it wasn't for the light in the center. It helps to add a little bit of balance as well as giving the viewer some type of bearing. The light on the far right of the image helps to balance out the brightness of the screen on the left, but the two different tones again adds to a slight unrestful feeling.
Annnnnnd I think that's all I've got.
As you can tell, I love the way this shot was composed. Very very nice work wuff. *Grins*

Haha. Well again, thank you for all of the comments. Feedback is always a plus, especially on this level of detail. Thanks!
I think the effect of lighting / color is a result of mixed IR and false light. The light you see above me was just -barely- visible at a glance. I presume they're bleeding a very small portion of unnatural light through an IR array and this is giving us the effect on the screen. There was a very dim light further back, but its out of the picture. This room was dark otherwise. When you first walk in, you can't really see anything except the exit on the other side.

No problem. Occasionally I do come along a picture that I just love...and this time it happened to be yours. ^^;
And thats something that didn't even register. I wasn't even thinking about the camera picking up the IR light as well. But I think you've got a great point, that light at the top was probably a source of IR light for the cameras.
