way back in 93, i started writing a sci-fi novel (all i have to do is type it out) where post apocalyptic anthros, less than a century after the bomb/crash/prang/oops, promptly got out to the stars.
Captian Chi "hawk" Avery, shown here, is the protagonist of the first novel...and i think it's obvious where my influence came from (it's where they got theirs from btw). he was originally designed and intended to be a "japanese" eagle, but the only refrence I had at the time was Mamahaha...as for personality...think Picard meets Sisko
