Yeah, I definitely like Paint Tool SAI. I'm starting to like the simpler style, It's much better for my level of experience and I think it looks more like what I imagined. I do believe this is the first picture with my official fursona in it, the akita on the right.

incoming tangent

I drew the sketch for this last year when I was trying out different methods (pen outlining, different colors for different characters, etc.), and I found that using different colors for the line work of touching/overlapping characters really helped reduce complexity and confusion. As you can probably tell, I was in a pretty bad emotional state around that time; I felt lonely, isolated, alone, like a failure. It seems like I've always been most artistically creative when in a lot of emotional distress, which makes these 3 recent pictures somewhat ironic seeing as I'm feeling much better than before, still a bit lonely, but undeniably better. I think I'll end this tangent now before I bore everyone to death.
