This is something I wrote for a friend of mine who passed away from autoimmune hepatitis. She was one of the greatest friends I ever had and I'll never be able to understand why she had to leave us so soon at 18 years old. No hate please.


~ “Love me, Love life” ~
We were there for it all
You were born to be amazing
And look how far you got
You never gave up, and you never looked back
Your feet firm, and a "heart of gold"
That stubbornness we all loved…
…and compassion we all needed
You blessed us with a new life
And you were built firecracker tough!!
…. then you got sick ….
But you weren’t going to go without a fight
You held on to everything, with everything you had
You showed us you weren’t ready to leave just yet
It was a long battle; one we all wished you could have won…
But in the end you had to spread your wings
Now you watch us from above
I know you are with us each day
A beautiful angel we want to come home
You may be gone but you are never forgotten
As you left us with a final lesson…
To Love you, and to Love life.
