Another picture done for me by  NecroFeline so all praise goes to her. I just came up with the characters. Now onto their bios in the order I caught them.

Charla the Charizard
My starter pokemon and yes I named her after that one Charizard from the anime. I had an idea for her backstory, basically she was born a wild Charmander but her parents were killed/captured by Team Rocket. After she became an orphan, she was found by Professor Oak or one of his aids and brought to the lab. That's where she stayed until she was picked by Red to be his starter. Sounds like a good fan fiction idea if I had to will to write it. Now Charla's personality is best befitting of a leader. She is strong, able, and determined. She pretty much fits the role of leader to the rest of Red's pokemon and is very loyal to her trainer. As you can see, she smokes a piece of charcoal like a cigar. She does that because as you know, the in game item charcoal boosts the effects of fire type moves, so hence she keeps it in her mouth.

Raichu
I didn't give her a nickname because I couldn't think of one. Now Raichu can be summed up in two words, hedonistic, and a glutton. She is a pokemon who loves high living and seeks to pleasure herself whenever she can. Most of this involves eating or just relaxing. She doesn't like fighting much to be honest. In fact, she pretty much let herself get caught. She was under the assumption that pokemon owned by trainers had an easy cushy life, so after putting on a good show, she submitted to the poke ball. She was then in for a surprise when the real fighting started. As you can see, she sometimes is a bit of a smart alek and usually has a wisecrack available. Most can't stand her save for Charla. This is because they briefly knew each other as kids. This involved a trip down to Viridian City and some fermented berries. Kids.

Nidoking
The heavy hitter of the team. But also the gentle giant. He isn't a violent sort but fights if he needs too. One of his defining traits is his crush on Raichu. He absolutely adores her and acts like a love sick puppy whenever he is around her. The crush started when he was a small Nidoran and persisted as he evolved. Size doesn't matter to him and feels strongly she and he can make it work. Unfortunately Raichu is more interested in stuffing her face then a committed relationship. But that doesn't mean she isn't up for a guy waiting on her hand and foot. And poor Nidoking is too love stricken to notice. One good thing about his crush is it's a good way for him to unleash his strong side.

Precious the Persian
The third female of my group. Precious is a dark sort. She always has a sardonic word and wit at her disposal. Precious can be a cruel sort and enjoys making her opponents suffer. Also she can be a bit evil. Basically she is like Adder from The Animals of Farthing Wood. Most don't like her because of her nature, but she has a small respect for Charla. The one pokemon she absolutely hates is Raichu, whose she refers to as "Rat". She wears the item black glasses mainly for fashion but also because she believes it gives her her "bite" more bite.

Draco the Dragonite
Originally I was going to wait until the Safari Zone to get a dratini but I got good at the slot machines at the game corner that I had to get one then. Draco is a big macho man to be precise. He likes to boast and brag about how strong and manly he is.But mostly he loves to impress the ladies. That's one trait about him that stands out the most. He tends to be a bit vain and would rather admire himself in the mirror than battle. He can also be a bit chauvinistic. This puts him at odds with Charla, but still he tries to put on the charm. Especially when it comes to her.

Lapras
And last but not least, my dragon killer! Gotta love ice beam. Lapras is a personality I have had trouble developing. Mainly I picture him as a go with the flow kind of guy. He talks in a surfer accent and tries to find the most peaceful solution to a problem. You know what? That sounds perfect. He is a dreamer who usually has his head in the clouds and just loves to casually surf along the sea minding his own business.

Frankly I think I developed the girls better than the boys but this was the team that led me to Victory against the Elite Four.
