I really can't put into words how amazing and awesome this picture is! Jazzy completely floored me with this surprise and I completely love it to pieces!! Between Jazzy and the artist, Natsuakai, they pretty much nailed what I imagine March to look like! It's damn near perfect!
Everything from the messy mop of black hair, and those dual ivory horns, to the bottom of those digitigrade paws and large claws; all perfectly as I imagined! The body type is much more close to what I imagined, being lithe but showing hints of athleticism as well! The details on the wings and tail is also quite awesome to boot! The tailtip being quite close to a what I had imagined, where a tail-spade meets a tail-diamond in shape! The wings being quite large with the tips ending in what I find quite nice hook shapes!
The clothing and the skin being the next stuff I love about all of this. The detail on the clothing really makes the outfit appealing, almost like something I could see myself wearing! A quite nice take on the usual clothes worn by March! Then there's the details on the skin; the small reflections of light from tiny scales just looks wonderful! It really sells that March IS a scaly dragon!
The face though. That smiling happy face. I love it! I really, really do! I already mentioned the messy mop of back hair, but the act that it's shorter here compared to other pictures is wonderful! I was actually getting worried that his black mane would keep on growing with each picture, but this reigns it back into a very stylish style! The general shape of the head along with all the little details like the large nose horn and the ridged bridge of his nose, or the detail in the ear fins, it really sells it for me!
There's a few minor details that are different about March. Like his lighter belly colour and eye colour. But the thing is, I like it MORE this way! It just looks much nicer! I think I'm just going to say that this is what March looks like from no onward and say his eyes change colour often!
I really could go on and on and on about how much I love this! Words don't do justice to how great this looks and to how thankful I am for it!
Jazzy. Friggen love you man! You're an amazing friend to have!
