I did a quick study of Dutch Angel Dragon legs because I found myself a little confused by them ^^; DAD's do no have full horse legs, they actually have a mix of Digitigrade (Paws) and Ungulate (hooves), and the difference would be the number of joints, or points of movement, in the legs. The front legs are Digitigrade, like a wolf, (Picture of a maned wolf) and the back legs are more of a horse (Ungulate) Obviously they can have hooves or paws on either type of leg.
