This is the completed dragon design for Fire of Ages 02. I have also finished the framing elements, but I'm waiting for the glue to dry before I scan it. Since the drawing stands very well all by itself, I'm going to go ahead and post it and print it as completed entity.

I used Prismacolor pencils to do all of the coloring work here.

Seahorses, copeopods, mantis shrimp, horseshoe crabs, and trilobites inspired the dragon design. Earnst Haeckel's Art Forms In Nature guided me through a lot of the project details during the design phase.
