Here’s to 6+ years of concept art in the furry fandom!
As embarrassing as it can be to show really old art, I feel like it is also important to observe how far I’ve come since 2009 when I started doing freelance commissions! Never give up, never stop striving to be a better you!
I recently re-worked how I do my concepts from the ground up. It was a long and tedious process but I'm constantly trying to deliver the best product I can to my customers. The top two examples showcase the latest NeonSlushie look!

Wow, thanks so much! :D
When doing my most recent ones, something that has helped me was setting up guidelines at important places such as top of ears, shoulders, paws, crotch, knees, feet, etc. Making sure they match and line up on each view is important for symmetry! This is something I never did on my previous examples, which is why the newer ones look so much more professional and crisp in comparison.
Practice makes perfect! Study how things work in 3-D!
