Another
Hida piece, featuring the dragon himself and Mero from the Monster Musume world. I know some of you thought it was going to be Suu, and quite honestly I was going to make it her, but then I opted for a double red herring. The first being the title of the story and the beginning of the story. Just a bit of fun really.
With this story complete, it marks the end of the Park Arc, which means that the next piece to come out will involve Hida doing his usual antics, but in a completely different location. Fascinating, right? This will likely be the last story I complete before I disapear to EGX, but look forward to more once I get back!

I see, i cant wait to see how this ambitious story unfolds! though this whole saga has made me ask alot of questions
*does this make the chocobo a monster girl?
*does that make hida and the other micros a monster?
*who is hidas parents? and are they alive?
*since monster girls and anthros and micros can exist together, what about pokemon and my little pony?
*speeking of the last question, does this make all of your stories in the same canon in some way?
*is there some way for hida to get caught? surley most people can see something thats slightly larger then a fly
*you keep teasing the possibility of death alot, will this come into play?
(none of these questions have to be answered but i thought i would let you know)

The chocobo girl is an anthro .
Depends on who you ask.
You'd have to ask Hida.
They exist in their own way, I'll get to them eventually.
It would be some weird and twisted canon, but yes, they could all comfortably exist in some way. I'm not saying they do, but the possibility is there.
The idea of him being face to face with an aware predator has been tossed around here and there and may be implemented. You'll need to wait and see.
It's possible. Maybe not in the Monster Musume arc, but perhaps afterwards.

I now the chocobo is an anthro but i am curious about how tight the deffinition of a monster girl is so i thought id throw that question out <3 Thanks for actually taking the time to talk! i always had a theory about hida
hida has many incarnations sort of like link from zelda! all of them have a magical or biological means of surviving these disastrous situations, this explains why hida varies in era and size! its different generations or incarnations and would explain why he varies in how durable he is, the biologically durable hidas wouldnt be killed by vore or crushing, but are more susceptible to natural causes and physical limitations, whilst magical hidas would be easily crushed or digested but they are alive the next day.

Pretty sure the definition of monster girl is that it must be half human and half animal, as opposed to anthros which are just animals that can mimic humans exactly.
I suppose that works as a theory. I think in Hida's actual case, it's more than likely that they're all just non-connected one shots, with the same Hida in each.

Thats what i thought too untill i saw a picture that was made roughly 2 to 3 years ago about a magical rune that hida had that would allow him to be revived if he was to be killed in any way, at the time that was the first serious time hida has had some sense and canon,
And in some stories it is implied that he has done his shtick many times and doesnt seem to learn even after his many failures, suggesting he has a means to survive, and your story is the first time that hidas life is explored as he grows up to become an adventurous macro lover, but this hida is just one in a long line of incarnations, the modern hida! theres just to much evidence across the works of art to support this theory.
hell maybe history is just repeating itself, the previous hidas probobly went to a simmilar journey in there respective eras, albeit not as grand as this most recent affair
