After hanging out in Bemidji and having lunch at the Minnesota Nice Cafe, I drove up to Kelliher. There in Paul Bunyan Memorial Park sits a mound that is supposed to be the gravesite of American legend and folk hero Paul Bunyan.
The marker says that Paul Bunyan was born in 1794 and died in 1893. So Paul was 99 years old when he died...he hung in there.
