Very VERY late-night marker drawing. First time I've tried shading with markers, pretty pleased with the results!

A character I've been tormenting experimenting with lately. She lived on a city on an island that got completely destroyed in a cataclysm. The magic that caused the cataclysm ensured that the few people who survived the initial disaster slowly went mad and transformed/devolved into cannibalistic monster-zombie things. Pretty soon she was the only one left.

The only name she's ever knows is Hush. They call her that because she doesn't say much. A head injury sustained during the cataclysm ensured she has no memory beforehand. She eventually got off the island, out to the normal world, but she'll never forget where she came from, or that everything could be taken away from her in an instant.

She's a natural anti-mage; she has no magical abilities of her own, but is completely immune to magic. That, and her strange combination of determination/surviving-to-spite-her-enemies, is the reason she survived. She'll turn anything into a weapon; rocks, glass, doesn't matter. If she can throw it/shank you with it, it works.
