Was told she looked like Lady from Disney's Lady and the Tramp.
I googled spaniels for the basic head shape, ear shape and length (outside lines) and face pattern/stripe.
Otherwise I normally draw eyes/mouths etc like that for ferals.
Non-feline noses are another major characteristic I need to practice I think it would have looked better had I not indented that side of her snout/excluded the nostril, at least, but it was too late to change once I sharpie'd it. OH well! :)
This was the basic design for 'Tangled' I was throwing around, my floppy-eared spaniel mutt fursona.
However, canines are exceedingly difficult to draw. You'll see me switching out between this, a generic lioness or cat until I look into more feral animal designs, lol.
