A species of humanoid Dragons, the Draykin are as diverse as their Dragon ancestors. They are devoted to the preservation of nature and are adapt at utilizing Iserialogy to manipulate plants in amazing ways. The Draykin are wise and patient, and many great sages were born of this old race. The harmony of all living things is their supreme goal.

The Draykin were the first two-legged species to come into existance, and were the first to create a major civilization. They were later almost eradicated in the Genocide War with the Wel, and were forced into hiding for long centuries. Even though these events are now in the distant past, they have massively changed the Draykin, making harmony their most important value. The Draykin seek to live in harmony together with all living things. Plants, animals, and most importantly the other humans. As such, they have always been a force of moderation throughout the ages, and will only participate in violent action in the most extreme of cases.

These days, the Draykin are found in many communities all around the world. They have a loose nation in the jungles of Ventana which is a place of peace and moderation, welcoming and valuing all other species equally.

Draykin come in three major appearances: Western, Eastern, and Furry. Western Draykin have scales and horns, and bat wings (with the exception of Ekyro-clan Draykin). Eastern Draykin have enlongated bodies, fur, antler-like horns, whiskers, and long ears. Furry Draykin have fur and feathered wings, as well as long ears.

Draykin wear clothes only for practical purposes. Otherwise they feel that their scales or fur provide an adequate amount of protection and decency. As such, it is rare to see a Draykin in any sort of clothes other than work related clothes or armor. Instead, Draykin who wish to express their individuality or status frequently wear ornaments and jewelery of all kind directly on their fur or scales.

The Draykin of the Jylcra clan of fire are bright and passionate leaders. Their fur and plumage are of orange and yellow, and seemingly ablaze.

Vashya is a mysterious Draykin with an uncanny supply of ancient Iserial artifacts from the golden age of Iserialogy, such as her synthetic battle armor, her weapon - a force rod, able to project powerful beams of Iserial energy at her enemies - and most notably, her ship, the Reginleif, which is able to fly even into outer space. No one knows how she came into posession of all these artifacts, and her background remains a mystery.
