Senahoy Nodies, a Character from "The Chronicles of Ceal ~ The Crystal Seal"
---
The Wel are the most diverse race of Zeal. A race of two-legged mammals, predators and prey alike, one would expect much internal conflict and discrimination. However, somehow the Wel are all connected by a sense of kinship, that makes them work together all the better. Each race has their own individual strengths, and it is by combining these myriad of strengths that makes the Wel into a race of formidable team players.
The Wel were the last of the Original races to come into existence. They are the most progress-oriented of the Original races and have built many great nations throughout history. There has only been a single time when the unity of the Wel was disrupted. During the era of the Iserial War, there existed four major Wel nations. However, even in that divided age, there was never any discrimination among the Wel, for each of the nations had a homogenous mix of all races.
Indeed, it is this mix of the different Races that gives the Wel their strength, for each of the Wel races are extremely specialized, excelling in their chosen field, but performing poorly in all others. A Tiger-Wel makes for an excellent soldier, but few of them ever become scholars. Likewise, Mouse-Wel are rarely seen on the battlefield, and prefer to use their sharp wits and dexterous fingers to deal with technology.
Most Wel prefer not to wear clothes, feeling that their fur provides an adequate amount of warmth and decency. They only wear clothing when they need to, for example in cold climates if Iserialogy is not an option to stay warm. Also, Wel of rank may wear formal attire and regalia, depending on the society. Naturally, profession-related equipment is worn as usual by the Wel. A Wel warrior braving the battlefield will don a suit of armor just like any other species would for the protection it provides.
---
The Snow Leopard Wel are a combination of elegant grace and deadly force.

Senahoy was born in Sybak as the only child of a Snow Leopard couple in the honorable Nodies family. Being a traditional family of Oathbound Wel warriors, they raised Senahoy to the way of the blade from an early age on. When she was only four, her family moved to a remote manor in the Keleyreste Mountains where they raised Senahoy without the danger of her being sidetracked by the distractions of the city. As such, Senahoy never had a real childhood, but didn't miss it either, not knowing other ways to live. She received good training and excellent education.
Later on, she was gradually introduced to the outside world, but by then her family's way of honor was so ingrained in her being that she resisted its temptations, and at her coming-of-age ceremony at the age of 20, she chose to become an Oathbound Wel, and swore to uphold her family's codex of honor. She joined the military academy in Sybak, and because of her outstanding marks was suggested for transfer to the Helix academy. At this point, she said goodbye to her family, not knowing where her duty would take her in the future.
At age 23, she graduated from the Helix military academy with flying colors, a fully-fledged Oathbound Wel Soldier now. As she grew older, she rose through the ranks quickly, becoming Colonel by the age of 32.
Six years later, at age 38, she was finally chosen by Tiberius as one Fate General. Ever since then, she has excelled at her position, faithfully carrying out all duties assigned to her, and being a great asset to Cetara as a whole.
