Henry Felkora, a Character from "The Chronicles of Ceal ~ The Crystal Seal"
---
The Sprites are a species with a high affinity for Iserialogy. They resemble Nefeilim children of various ages, and are characterized by a tail, lots of hair, and their inherent ability to levitate. No matter how old they become, they retain a childish nature through their lives and are usually quite impulsive. Being almost completely Iserial beings, their mastery of Iserialogy is second to none.
The Sprites were created by Nova as a species of weapons grade Iserialogist, capable of acting in surprising and unpredictable ways. They are still biological beings, but only barely so. They procreate like normal biological beings and are even able to cross-breed with other species. However, their need to consume food and drink is reduced (though they still enjoy to do so, and quite a lot at that), and they have no set lifespan. Instead, due to their childish and carefree nature, most Sprites die of sudden and unnatural causes sooner or later. However, sometimes Sprites simply fade away. There has been no pattern identified for this as of yet, and the oldest Sprite recorded in history reached an age of a little over 400 years.
After Nova's defeat, most of the Sprites just roamed happily across the countryside for a while, taking care of themselves, and not caring much for other species, except as playmates. However, they eventually took an interest in the civilization that other species built, and while the Sprites never built a civilization of their own, they instead joined the existing civilizations, first and foremost those of the other Novean races.
Being almost iserial beings, each sprite has an affinity to one element which affects his/her appearance and
nature in a similar way as race does for the other species.
As almost iserial beings, the Sprites don't really need clothes. However, they are still highly interested in clothing as fashion acessoires. Due to their childish nature, many sprites like to wear frilly and unusual clothes in bright colors, as well as lots of jewelry and ornaments for their hair and tails.
Since levitating is actually easier for them than walking, Sprites usually don't wear footwear. Instead, they often wear anklets.
---
The light-affine Sprites of the Lyra-clan are naive and impulsive. They often do the first thing that pops into their head, and abandon it as soon as they think of something different. They have bristly tails and star-shaped hair of pure white, as well as pale skin.

Henry was born approximately half a year after his older sister, Dani. He doesn't remember much of their parents, only that he and his sister were all alone all of a sudden when he was 3. From then on, life became a grand adventure. Every day he and his sister had to find some means to live. It was very exciting and fun for him, if not for his sister. Henry's carefree and impulsive attitude often got him into trouble, and sometimes seriously injured. Fortunately his sister Dani was always there to take care of him and heal him.
As he got older he started to feel Dani's pain, and tried to be as cheerful as possible around her to cheer her up. He eventually figured out that he was the only thing keeping Dani alife, and as such resolved to be more careful, which failed miserably. In fact, at the age of 6 he managed to kill himself while trying to prepare an exciting new recipe for mushroom-onion creme soup. In an amazing feat, his sister managed to bring him back.
After that, they were taken in as Novices of the Novean Faith by Grand Patriarch Amadeus, who had taken an interest in Dani's abilities. Living in the palace was lots of fun for Henry, and although he was offered education, he often skipped class to play and more common than not, cause devastation in his wake. Nontheless, he showed great academic and Iserial aptitude, passing tests he barely studied for and mastering advanced Iserialogies with ease, which was the primary reason why Amadeus bothered keeping him, sensing great potantial in Henry. Henry also pursued the perfection of the mushroom-onion creme soup recipe, an ambition which regularly caused widespread damage and caused him to be permanently banned from the kitchin within a month of his arrivel (when he blew up the eastern wing of the palace).
This faith was rewarded when at age 12, Henry and Dani unlocked their respective prowess for handling advocates as a result of one of Henry's destructive experiments. Shortly after, they were promoted to Adepts, and instead of discouraging Henry from his destructive experiments, Amadeus has set aside a generous fund for castle repairs.
