Like I said in my recent journal, I have a well-used 1994 Ford Escort for sale. No AC, but the rest of it works OK. Recently inspected, new plugs, tires rotated, etc. It's a cranky old beater that will get you back and forth from work - Which is all it was ever really intended for.
I'm asking a grand (US$ 1000), which is about what I have into it, aside from insurance. Which is really cheap for a car this old, if that's a factor. First come, first served, cash preferred.

It was a cheap way to meet the 'passive restraint' requirement that had just been brought in, it was never really that good of a safety system.
After a couple years, jurisdictions started specifically ruling that creeping shoulder belts didn't count as passive restraints and everyone switches to including airbags, (the main intent of the passive restraint rule).
