5 TALES to REMEMBER, NURSERY FABLES:

#3: Little Red Wolf In the Woods

We all know that tale of the Wolf Demon Musei and her young cub Flann whom although is 16 years old is only 2 in wolf demon years. That being said, she's reached that stage where she thinks she can leave the den and play by herself pick red flowers in the forest fields. So on day she sneaks away, and begins to play, happy and frolicking as any wolf cub does. Yet, what she doesn't notice is that in these woods there's a dark presence of "The Sin-eater" standing close behind. Waiting and watching for the right moment to strike. And although she is a young wolf demon, The Sin-eater maybe be able to trick the location of the great demon Musei before he's read to taste the young cub herself.

So what have learned her today? Two very important things. Number One, we get to see "The Sin-eater" whom although claims to be a holy man is easily a corrupt man with an even more corrupt vendetta. And two, we learn that the ears on Flann's cape are merely costume since he full ears haven't grown in yet. They're barely a bump on her head, but I imagine in a few more years her wolf ears will take over her human like ears as she grows more into her wolf self. And you're probably wondering, where she got this cape from, seeing as how wolves may not be good at sewing or acquiring disposable diapers. Well, all that can be explain at a future date. But let's just say there are those in the forest who respect the wolf demons as guardians of the forest and they're always willing to make offerings to show in their good grace. And not just food but clothes, appliances, etc. Although, if you were to see this "Woodsperson" responsible, you might be pleasantly surprised as this is a story where nothing is ever quick what it seems.
