The hunter of tongues.
Born in New Roam, Tongue Catcher is the current leader of the Foals of the Apocalypse in the desert of the Scorching Light (formerly San Palomino Desert), close to the mysterious town of Green Gash.
Before the Foals, it was part of the legion, and he was a good fighter, but very domineering in regard to the other soldiers, even of rank higher than his.
In addition, the name Tongue Catcher was given by his obsession to take the tongues of fallen enemies (then it is not his real name).
The reason why he was banished from New Roam is due to of the assassination of one of his superiors.
Years later (but before the events of Heart of the Goddess) he came into contact with the Steel Rangers, and served for some years a small group of the faction as a shock troop.
There, too, he did not lose his macabre obsession.
The reason for this has never been made clear, but it seems to be relegated to his balding, is said.
However, one day, he and three scouts were captured by the Foals of the Apocalypse, who tended an ambush and took them in the depths of an old mining operation.
After a week, he managed to get into the good graces of the previous leader of the Foals and, later, to become part of it, after killing two of the three explorers and having cut the tongue to the third.
Years later, now an influential member of the community, he decided to take the place of the old leader by force, killing him and claimed, as his trophy, the skull of him.
During this battle, also, he lost good part of the right front leg.
Now, after almost seven years and countless tongues collected, Catcher has retired, deciding to drive to better his Foals.
But current events are awakening the warrior in him.
The Mowing Tongues .
Having to use rudimentary prostheses made from scraps, Tongue Catcher built at least eight of them for any type of occasion.
The one represented here is the Mowing Tongues, the preferred weapon of the mad collector and the more admired by the Foals, regarded as "the sharpest blade in the equestrian wasteland, so much to slice a alicorn in two with a single blow."
Not surprisingly, it is used in the rare periods of the Wild Hunt, or when food stocks of the Foals (consisting of meat of various kinds, including that of ponies and water) are scarce and must immediately supplied .
The interest for the Heart .

Tongue Catcher wants the heart to conquer Equestria and then destroy New Roam and make the Foals of the Apocalypse the new lords of the wasteland.
Obviously, the problems are not few: first, Green Gash is already radioactive, and the Heart is located deep in the heart of the exploded reactor of an old Stable (the 115).
In addition, Azatohl continues to fight them, being more powerful than any Foals .
