Like out of some 50's monster movie, Karpenter was too startled by the sight of this huge Blue-Spotted Tree Monitor, to think about running away. Of course, the monitor had no issue with snatching up someone foolish enough to just stand there for him. It was even more surprised that once snatched up, the little, tasty treat didn't yell and struggle to get away. You'd almost think he wanted to get eaten. ;)

I love the way this came out. Karpenter looks wonderful atop that squishy and slimy tongue, and the monitor looks absolutely gorgeous.
