randomly came accross this and saw your comment and thought I'd respond. There's an old urburn legend of an elderly woman putting her small dog into a microwave to dry him off when he got cought in the rain... way back when microwaves were new and people didn't understand them. End result I'm sure you can predict, no explosions though

Oh lord, I need to get you to an SCA event.

The last one, they had a whole pig and most of a Cow on a set of spits.
Took hours to really cook them,but was very worth it.
