Long overdue request for MintyMousyXFCE.
Here we have a female bat enjoying a relaxing walk.
Panel 1: she is having a nice stroll, all is well.
Panel 2: she begins to feel some discomfort in her shoes, feeling as if her feet are getting bigger.
Panel 3: she decides to sit and remove her shoes. She manages to remove the first one, and is overjoyed by the relief. Her ears and wings sagging a bit from the release of pressure on her foot. This reveals her stinky foot from being inside those shoes all day.
Panel 4: she removes the other shoe and another wave of relief passes through her body. This foot being just as smelly as the first.
Panel 5: she leans back against a surface and spreads her toes to relax her feet. Thinking that maybe she should wear sandals instead. Or maybe no shoes at all. especially since shoes seem to make her feet smelly. They might not smell as bad now that they have been free for a bit, but I bet they still smell of sweat a bit.
What do you think she should do?
Never drawn a bat before. Do bats even have expressive ears? Well she does. :p took me a while to finish this. About 3 hours I think. All in all, I like the look of her paws.

over all nice piece, i actually haven't seen a female bat with this body type before which is a plus on my end, the detailing on her paws is pretty good and while sandals are a bit saturated in your gallery it's better than another of the 8 zillion characters who don't wear shoes at all.
it'd be nice if this likable bat gal ever shows up in your gallery again.

As for her showing up again, I wouldn't be surprised. She looks nice, and I can draw her more easily in the future now that I established a starting point. All that's left is to give her a name really. I am not too good with names though. As it is, I have barely decided on names for the lucario, delphox, and charizard from my written works.
I still need to name this bat and the other wolf girl too.
As for footwear, I of course love sandals because I love wearing them, but if you have any suggestions, feel free to let me know. I wouldn't mind having her just stick to using these type of shoes she wore on her walk today.

and i honestly get your trouble with naming your characters as i have a lot of characters myself and coming up with names for all of them takes work to keep from accidentally using the same name twice.
with her shoes i'm good with her having the pair of flats she has in the picture or a pair of sandals, but i have wondered what a pair of boots would look like in your art style.
oh and those ears actually are adorable, i only realized that just now.

As for the boots, I almost did make her wear boots instead. Though I gravitated more towards these flats since they seem a tad mote comfortable. :p that, and boots would be very simple if indeed to draw them. Simple in appearance that is.

If you believe in coincidences, I was laying down in bed one day, and I dozed off. When I woke up, the first thing I saw in the ceiling was the silhouette of the bat girl's head. The ears were like diamonds, and the general shape of the head. Now mind you, my ceiling is one of those asbestos dotted type ceilings, so it was like a game of conect the dots. But when I did, I saw that head and ear shape, and I immediately thought "that's my bat's head" and I immediately drew it out on a small piece or paper and went from there.
