Introducing the newest member of Captain Freeagle's Freedom Squad, Adam Bomb! This time-traveling beaver was once a freedom scout who decided to build a nuclear reactor in his garage in the 1950's as part of his scouting project. Unfortunately, there was an accident which propelled him forward in time to 2001 and granted him radioactive superpowers. Once the terrorists attacked 'Merica, Adam Bomb joined the squad to put his superpowers to good use. On the side, he builds contraptions and experiments, looking for a way to return home to the 50's. He is very much an anachronism to the team, gee golly gosh!

Fascinating. Being a bit of an anachronism myself, this is a character I can relate to. I couldn't help but be reminded of the "Duck and Cover!" turtle character in those "Nuclear Attack safety" cartoons of the 1950s when I saw this image. I really like the idea, as there would be plenty of humor potential for a character so out of his time suddenly finding himself in the 21st Century.
I'll bet he was kind of disappointed there were no flying cars, jet packs, or daily rocket flights to the moon or Mars.

Oh! I'll have to check that out. I believe the second movie with it's completely computer generated world is out on DVD now, so that little gag might make the feature worth watching. I still chuckle when I see the likes of Austin Powers putting a CD on a turntable and dropping the needle on it. SCREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEECH!
