This is Brix and Haze, members of an insectoid-like race of aliens known as the Gaichuukan. Like Haze in this pic, the majority of the planet's population are rather plain looking, being various shades of browns and greens. The ones that look different from everyone else are known as the 'Tainted,' and are generally shunned by the rest of society, with the exception of the leaders of the planet.

Haze is the heir and therefore future leader of the planet while Brix was appointed as his official 'babysitter,' making sure the little guy stays out of trouble.
