Printed Needlepoint Kit

Ok, this one is very old school. It was the first large scale needlepoint I ever did. I even used a loom for the first time. It was also the last time I did needle point, afterwards I tried cross-stitch and I've never gone back.

Interesting story, I entered this in the local fair when I was done and I felt I did well earning a third place. Apparently though on the last day when entries were being picked up, some woman placed my picture at the bottom of a large pile of items and tried walking away with it. Thankfully a volunteer asked to double check her pile before she left; probably to make sure she wasn't forgetting anything. It was before I was in high school so I would have been a very upset little kid if she had made off with it. Funny thing is I felt great afterwards because even though it was only third place someone felt it was worth enough to try to steal. Go figure.
