Where the magic happens
Liu and Arthur Sheeah's bed room. it has been way too long since i really concentrated on backgrounds, just kinda slapping them in there but no more. with all the tools and bits i have access too things can get a lot more interesting. to bad i am still so slow at these

You say you "kinda slap backgrounds" in your stories, I wish I could just "slap" awesome backgrounds like that in mine!
Your detailed backgrounds are becoming some of my favorite things. You're really good at setting a strong good mood without even showing the characters in the scenery.
This room is so cozy, I'd use it as bedroom and living room together with my mini library. xD
I also love the chest and weapons in the corner there. I collect stuff like that myself. Maybe not the spear sort of weapons, but I got old-fashioned pistols and knives from second-hand shops and street markets. c:
Can I ask where you get your background source material and inspirations from?

thank you but it is actually 3d models that i put into blender and lit and rendered
after setting up my lights i render at a rather grainy version so i have to repaint over everything
i have a LOT of prop models but i have been a bit reluctant to use the bigger ones because in DAZ they become unwieldy due to the iteration mechanics. in blender it is MUCH easier and you just gave me some ideas that i hope i remember for the future

have LOTS of 3d props.
go download blender http://www.blender.org/ as it is free and powerful enough to quickly become an industry standard
youtube has mountains of free tutorials on the basics. when you are ready for some more advanced tips and how to get them into photoshop so it looks like your style but perfect perspective, let me know
