Here, we have Chris and his grandparents down at the range, where Chris gifts Anya an old M38 carbine, that happens to in fact be her old rifle from the war. She recognizes every ding and scratch on it, moreso the initials she etched into the stock with her thumb out of boredom years back. After firing it again, a plethora of memories come flooding back to her. The war itself wasn't the fondest of memories, but that rifle, it helped her pull through and survive it. To her, it was like reuniting with an old friend after 75 long years.
